DATEV interface to the rexx suite
With over 20 years of market presence, we have often implemented interfaces from the rexx Suite to DATEV systems. In the summer of 2019, DATEV and rexx systems decided to intensify their cooperation to implement new technical standards within the framework of the so-called cloud API.
This paved the way for a significant improvement in data exchange between the two market-leading systems. The entire processes are easier to use, more efficient and safer.
DATEV interface: LODAS & wages and salaries
As an official DATEV interface partner, the collaboration concerns the DATEV solutions “LODAS” and “Wage and Salary” and includes customer-specific DATEV applications as well as DATEV payrolls via the customer’s tax advisor.
In the years 2020 – 2023 and currently, both partners have invested and are investing significantly in development and quality assurance.
Today, the rexx DATEV interfaces – known in English as API “application programming interface” – are among the best available on the market. Master data and wage-relevant data are prepared by rexx and transferred securely to the DATEV data center or wage data and payslip are picked up from there (so-called “bidirectional interface”).
This benefits mutual customers, but also tax consulting firms, which can recommend other services in the area of personal software in addition to payroll accounting.
Data exchange rexx systems ↔ DATEV
Payment data (rexx → DATEV →rexx):
rexx HR is the leading system for preparatory payroll accounting. Relevant payment data is transferred from rexx HR to DATEV – regardless of whether it is the classic salary, upcoming wage increases, hourly wages/daily rates, overtime, special payments/bonuses/surcharges and much more.
Conversely, the information from the actual billing is transferred to rexx and is available to you for further processing.
For LuG and LODAS, fixed salaries and net payments and deductions can be transmitted.
Master data (rexx → DATEV):

Absences (rexx → DATEV):
This data is transferred to DATEV so that the possible impact on payroll can be taken into account. This could be, for example, the number of vacation days taken, sick days, parental leave, etc
eAU (DATEV → rexx):
The electronic certificates of incapacity for work (eAU) are imported into rexx HR and linked to the absence bookings.
